CRC are pleased to announce the appointment of Andrea Longman to the position of project manager and research analyst.
Andrea was awarded her BSc in biochemistry from Cardiff University in 1996; she received an MSc in biotechnology from the University of Kent and a PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology from Bristol University before coming back to Cardiff University as a post-doctoral scientist. She worked for the National Public Health Service as a surveillance scientist in the field of hospital acquired infections between leaving academia and joining CRC.
Andrea’s background in biochemical research and healthcare surveillance bought her to CRC, where she shares the role of project manager and data analyst.
We are all delighted to announce the arrival of Niels to our health economist Anette Woehl and her partner Russell McDonald.
Niels was born on Saturday 26th January 2008 and weighed in at an impressive 3.7 kg (8lb 3oz). They are all well and we send congratulations and best wishes to them all.
Kim joins CRC from Abacus International where she was Global Development Director. In the past Kim ran a specialist heath outcomes communications consultancy service near Oxford.
